September 28, 2009, Los Angeles, CA - UrbanWorld Wireless, a leading provider of urban entertainment content, has combined urban entertainment and lifestyle in one cool new mobile application. The free "UrbanWorld" app features the up-to-the minute news in Hip Hop, the Cali Fly Girls Women of Color wallpapers, and exclusive new music and videos; in Phase II, "UrbanWorld" will feature Party Alertz, your mobile VIP connection to the hottest parties in major cities including Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami, New York and more.

In the first week alone, and with little word of mouth, nearly 30,000 iPhone users downloaded the application. Even comedian Katt Williams taped an exclusive ad to endorse "UrbanWorld", which can be viewed at http://www.udubnews.com/viewVideo.php?id=265.
